Just venting because literally everywhere I go, instead of being excited about a new FF finally hitting North America, I see this whinefest everywhere. If we got like, extra chapters and bonus content in its place, they'd still be mad. The only time gamers get vocal about censorship is when boobs are at stake. Skipping the game over UNLOCKABLE COSTUMES. What blows my mind is that people are BASING THEIR PURCHASE ON THIS. Censoring boobs, when they are so readily available in this day and age is more silly than something to get upset over. It is such an idiotic thing to get upset about and start throwing up OMG CENSORSHIP sirens like they are actually concerned with that.Ĭensorship matters when they are removing things that matter. So yeah, Nintendo shouldn't censor, but nobody should be as up in arms as they are over losing the ability to dress girls in lingerie. They were not a crucial element of the game. They added nothing to the game except a chance to look at the girls basically naked, which you can find online anywhere if you're that determined. We're adults playing it (or supposed to be). Not because I care, but because people are letting this bother them. But for Nintendo you can't keep both sides of gamers & I hope next time they leave the artists vision the way they want it!

Don't let me stop you as its good for those that are new to the series & don't know about the game. For new gamers or gamers that never tried out FF games & looking to play FF5 be my guest. Another note is all these rumors going around saying NX will be powerful for 3rd parties to jump on board making games but then what developer out there would make a game on NX if its going to be censor! I'll be passing up FF5 because I support some M rated games that don't get censor. It would affect the sales of it because too much stuff removed. For all the dead or alive fans out there now you know why Wii U never got the game because every costume would be edit & judge by the other systems & fans would be mad. But didn't UK get it early then us & still have the sexy outfits in it but they upped whats her name age a bit? If so how does Xeno X get away with it & FF can't? Anyway I was really looking forward to getting FF5 & praying they didn't remove anything but now thats just a dream now. Now I'm worried more for XenoBlade X as now I'm thinking about why we got a long delay for the NA release! Maybe to remove & redo new costumes for it as well. I remember P.N.O.3 character wearing a G string costume when you get 100% completion, a GAMECUBE GAME! Its ok for Bayonetta 2 to show all from the start & the 3ds community got Senran game to post the games pic on Miiverse! I really don't understand Nintendo anymore! I knew they would remove it because FF2 remake trailer got the same costume treatment back then.
